Meaghan joined Blankinship & Foster in 2024. As a financial advisor, Meaghan helps clients in a variety of areas including retirement, investing, education, insurance, and tax planning.
As a member of the Financial Planning department, she analyzes client financial needs and situations and develops strategies to help clients reach their life goals. She also helps develop best practices and processes for our financial planning work, and for our systems and software.
Before joining Blankinship & Foster, Meaghan spent 15 years doing financial planning and client service at a small RIA firm in San Diego. She holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
During her time off she enjoys hiking, snowboarding and anything related to being in the ocean. She loves spending time with family, friends and her dog Paco.
Are you from the San Diego area? If not, what brought you here?
I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and enjoyed a wonderful childhood there. After going away to college on the “mainland” it was hard to go back to living in such an isolated place. I had a few friends who had settled in San Diego and it seemed like the perfect place for me . . . and it was!
